A chair donated
by Lee Industries will be raffled off for $1.00 per ticket

Entry Fee:$100.00
per boat
We
anticipate paying out 5 places based on a 50 boat capacity

Optional
Big Fish:$10
per boat optional fee (100% payout)
We
anticipate paying out 2 places for big fish.1st
place will receive 70% of the money and 2nd place will receive
30% of the big fish money.

Early
Registration:
If
you sign up by early registration, the entry fee will be reduced by $10.00.Early
registration entry fee is only $90.00 plus the optional $10.00 for big
fish.

be mailed (postmarked) on/or before September 6th, 2009.
Starting
positions will be in the order of the entry forms received.
Each
boat’s starting number/tournament card will be given to you between 5:00
am-7:00 am.Your tournament card
will be required at the time of weigh in in order to gather your score.Fish
will not be weighed in without this card.
Same
Day Registration:
September
12th, 2009.Entry forms
will be accepted the day of the tournament at the Pinnacle
Access Area from 5:00
am to 7:00am.Cash only is accepted
on same day registrations.No checks
will be allowed on same day registration.
Rules:
-
All participants
must be 16 years of age or older unless accompanied by an parent or adult
guardian.
-
All areas of Lake
Norman (including hot holes) are On-limit unless restricted by NC wildlife
laws.
-
All ties shall
be broken by weight of the largest fish.
-
Only artificial
baits may be used. No live
or cut bait is permitted. No
chumming. All bass must
be caught alive in a legal and sporting manner. Participant may only use
one rod at a time. Snagging
is not permitted.

Alcoholic beverages,
stimulants, or depressants will not be allowed in any participant’s boat
at any time and all participants must comply with NC Game Fish regulations.

A one pound penalty
will be enforced for each five minutes late to the check in. A
boat that is 15 minutes late (after weigh in time 3:00) will be disqualified.

All participants
boats must be equipped with at least one aerated live well.
-
Scoring is based
on the total weight in pounds of bass caught by both participants. There
will be a limit of 5 live bass per boat. Only
largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass may be weighed in. Dead
fish will not be weighed in for scoring. The
length of the fish shall be no shorter than 14 inches (closed mouth) which
will be determined by the tournament director.

Tournament directors
will be solely responsible for the interpretation and enforcement of the
tournament rules and all decisions by the tournament directors will be
final. All protests must be
made in writing within 30 minutes after weigh in time.

Having read
the rules, I am enclosing this completed application and my membership
fee.In signing this application,
I hereby waive and release all of the contestants, hosts, sponsors and
tournament employees of the 2009 Hooks for Hoops Fishing Classic from all
claims of injury and/or damage incurred in connection with this tournament.I
further agree that I will not sue the tournament director, sponsors, hosts
or any connecting persons to the 2009 Hooks for Hoops Fishing Classic for
damages on account of any injury or damage that I suffer or cause whether
known now or which may develop in the future in connection with Hooks for
Hoops Fishing Classic Tournaments.I
agree to indemnify and hold Hooks for Hoops Fishing Classic harmless from
any liability whatsoever, including court costs and attorney’s fees arising
with respect to such action.I further
understand that by signing this agreement, I waive any rights my heirs
or relatives have or may have to sue the 2009 Hooks for Hoops Fishing Classic.

note that the proceeds from this tournament will go to benefit a local
aau/yboa 12 and under girls basketball team called the Newton Flames Elite.The
young ladies are attempting to raise enough money for 2010 tournament registration
fees and new uniform expenses.The
Newton Flames Elite thanks you for your participation in this fundraising
